Well, I guess I will take the challenge as well. Here is a list of 100 things that you may or may not know about me. Hope it allows you to see a little more of who I am. Thank you for the idea Katie. This was harder than it looks.
I am the oldest of three kids. I have a sister and a brother.
I was always the boss. My sister always did whatever I told her. She still lets me have the front seat in mom’s car automatically.
She even trusted me to cut her hair when she was three. (I also cut my own hair that day – hers looked MUCH better than mine!)
I hate cold weather. My parents had to MAKE me play outside in the snow.
I was EXTREMELY shy in elementary school. My mom used to give me lectures about how people were going to think I was snobby if I didn’t talk to them.
I used to borrow library books 5 at a time (the max allowed), read them all, and then return them days later for more.
I met my friend Hannah in second grade. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and still one of my best friends today.
Although I have no musical talent or sense of rhythm, in fourth grade I decided to play the drums; when given a list of instruments to bring home from school, I noted they were the cheapest, and therefore my best chance of being allowed to play an instrument.
I was the tallest in my class, at 5 foot, 4 ½ inches, in fifth grade. I haven’t grown since. (NOTE: that makes me 6 inches taller than Jason at the same age!)
I started playing soccer in fourth grade. I was one of two girls on the team and spent most of the time doing cartwheels on the field. I had a long way to go to become captain of my high school team and play in college.
One time after a junior high game, I was very upset when someone told me “Congratulations on your hat trick.” (On a team of all boys, I usually assumed they were being insulting even after I had scored three goals.)
In junior high I played a teacher in a community theater production. My name was Mrs. Quiggley. I was so excited to have a “real” gradebook prop.
In seventh grade I started coughing and couldn’t stop. No seriously. No one could figure out what was wrong with me.
I have since stopped coughing. (Lots of allergy shots and inhalers.)
After my freshman year, I went to Young Life camp with a few friends. I learned so much about becoming a witness of Christ to my friends.
I was a majorette in high school (the ones that twirl batons.)
In eleventh grade, my friend Jessica backed her parent’s brand new car into a pond because I told her it looked clear behind her.
I was pretty much a good kid.
I ran track in high school just to stay in shape for soccer. I wasn’t very good, but I lettered every year. There were hardly any other competitors in the 2-mile.
I graduated 4th in my class of 160.
I applied to Grove City College early admission. It was the only school to which I applied.
I made some great friends in college right away, including the very first person I met at GCC: Jami. I just couldn’t believe her voice was real. (She had a very strong southern accent.)

I worked all but one summer in college as a gas station attendant.
The “other” summer, I did a chemistry internship at manufacturing plant, testing and adjusting the chemical baths used for electroplating.
I met Jason because he was a chemistry major too, so we had lots of classes together.
He says I ignored him for a year. But really I thought he was too cool for me because he was in a fraternity.

Just when I have finally started to understand golf, Jason decided to take up biking instead.
