We had Whitney's baby shower on Sunday. It was a tea party celebrating baby Mckenna! Whitney got lots of cute clothes, toys, equipment, and books! I can't believe how few pictures I had a chance to take! It was such a busy day! Here is a glimpse at the day:
This was one of the cute room decorations I made using Mckenna's bedding theme.
As part of the tea party theme, the table centerpieces were scones and cookies, and everyone could choose various flavors of loose-leaf teas to try!
The diaper cake. The real cake (while we still ate it) was kind of squished because a cat jumped on the top of the cake box!!!

This was the girls first real playing in the snow; last year I took them out to take pictures, but they couldn't even stand up in their gear at the time!!! Makenzie absolutely loved the snow, while Kendall was kind of unsure what she thought! I always joke that my parents had to force me to play outside in the snow (I hated it!) - and I pretty much had to do that with Kendall to get her dressed - but she was fine once she got outside. The girls helped Daddy build a snowman (which only lasted about 3 hours, because it got so warm out in the afternoon!!!) I had a great time experimenting with my camera with great natural light! Actually, I'd been waiting to post these pictures until I could have time to do some editing, but finally decided just to post anyways.
Here's a little peek into our bedtime routine! The girls love it when Daddy reads to them!! I will say that the hug captured between Kenzi and Kendall is normal, but typically not on command - but it was tonight!
