Where has November gone?
I swear that November just started...where has the time gone? I can't believe its been so long since I've written on the blog! Here is a brief recap of our November days!
This is a common occurance...Makenzie and Kendall putting on make up. This is not the same day, but it is similar to the day when I found them covered head to toe (or shirt, dress, tights, and boots) in concealer and cover-up. Yeah...I'd say I learned my lesson about where I leave my makeup and what I think when it is "quiet."
Here is a pic of Kendall holding our little buddy Ryan. She was so excited to play with the baby! A few weekends ago our friends Andrew and Sally came out to stay for the weekend, and during the same time, Jeff, Jami, and baby Ryan came out for the day!!! It was a lot of fun catching up and of course playing with Ryan! Sally and I also talked centerpieces and showers (for her wedding of course!)
Here is one of our Tuesday playgroups - it was just Kelly and I! I actually got a pic of all the twins playing "together" - do 20 month olds play together? I think it counts if they don't steal or hit!
I just walked back into the playroom and found Kendall feeding her baby all by herself! Sometimes she is just so loving!
Then I started taking pics of Makenzie and she kept saying "CHEEEZE" quite dramatically!
I promise I will try to put up the Thanksgiving pictures ASAP!!

Tiff's Birthday Dinner
Happy Birthday Tiff!
Tonight we went to the Outback to celebrate our friend Tiffany! I thought it might be nice to take and post pictures of my friends, instead of just the kids! It was nice to be out with the girls! Our dinner party included Tiff (the birthday girl), Tiff S., Tricia (and baby Jillian), Kathy, Katie, Dara, Julie, and Jessie (and her daughter Maggie).

Visit with Mimi

At the beginning of the week, we went out to spend some time with Mimi! Mimi brought her "ball pit" inside for some indoor fun! Makenzie loved it! Below, you can see Kenzi talking to Pappy on the phone (doesn't she look a little too natural?) Kendall was having fun just being silly! Both girls loved petting Mimi's kitty-cat!

Halloween Parade
Saturday night was the Hollidaysburg Halloween Parade and we took the girls to watch! They loved it! Especially the blinking lights on the fire trucks! Kendall didn't like when the drums in the marching band went past (I think they were too loud!) We watched for our friends Kelly and Amy to march past - Kelly is a silk in the band and Amy's dance studio marched in the parade. Kelly is the flapper with the yellow boa!
After the parade we walked back to the Stuckey's for dinner and the Penn State game. The girls were dressed to cheer - including their pom-poms!

Trick or Treat!
This year, Makenzie and Kendall went trick or treating as witches...or maybe just halloween-inspired ballerinas (they DID NOT like their hats and eventually gave up their brooms in lieu of holding cookies or pretzals!) We decided we would walk from here over to the Sidney's and stop at a few houses in between - it took us about an hour and 15 minutes to do it! Once Kendall realized that we could walk up other people's driveways (which I never let her do when we take walks), and then at each house she could get something to stuff into her pumpkin, she didn't want to miss a house!

Tuesday Playgroup
On Tuesday, we went to Sophia's house for a playgroup (that is not a spelling error - this is our other friend Sophia!) I met Sophia's mom, Kari Ann, through my friend Lara. Lara was actually a patient of Jason's who was sweet enough to try and help me meet some new people when we first moved here! Lara was there on Tuesday too with her daughter, Grace. Last spring, I also met another mom, Kelly, at this playgroup, who has twin boys (Josh and Conner) just a few months younger than Makenzie and Kendall!
Sophia, Grace, and Reagan playing dress up!
Josh is trying to give Kendall a kiss! She doesn't let him, but if you see below, she did enjoy him giving a push!!

Saturday the 20th
The YMCA Old Tyme Faire Race (5K)
Tiff and I ran another race early this morning (8 AM!) - it was beautiful running weather!! I was so proud of us for doing it today! It was my first 5K (the last race I did was only 2 miles) so I was pretty excited to finish this race in just over 32 minutes. I think our "morning running club" is taking a break for the winter - hopefully we'll be able to get back in to it in the spring!
Tea with Tricia
Jason went golfing with Josh and Brennan after the race and when he got home, I went to the tea shop with Tricia and Tiff! We wanted to spend a bit of time together for her last weekend before she becomes a mom! She is being induced Monday morning! I can't wait to meet baby Jillian - Trish is going to be a great mom!!!!!!!!!
PSU vs Indiana
The girls were dressed in their Penn State cheerleader dresses for the game today, since they wore them for the first time last weekend, and we WON, so it was a requirement for today! (Jason says since the game next week is at 8 PM, they will have to sleep in their dresses - we'll see about that!!)

Pizza at the Guise's
We had a super fun spur of the moment pizza dinner night at the Guise's! The kids were so good and had so much fun playing, giving hugs (even Kenzi!), and eating (when do the Link girls NOT enjoy eating!) They were out of town for a baby shower last weekend, so I felt like it had been FOREVER since we saw them! It was so nice!!! I feel so blessed to have such an amazing friend in Katie! She is so awesome, and modest too - because she doesn't even recognize how beautiful she is (reference to At.BB pic)! Click here to see Katie's blog from our night!

Second Teeth Cleaning
At the Dentist
Yesterday, we went to Daddy's office for Mimi's dentist appointment. While we were there, Aunt B put a bib on Makenzie (for fun) and she sat up and opened her mouth. Aunt B asked her if she wanted her teeth cleaned and she said yes! So the girls had their second cleaning at the dentist (I didn't have my camera on the first visit) and they loved it!!!! They especially love the suction/straw!!!
