End of Summer Party at the Stuckey's

Saturday night we hung out in Tiff and Matt's backyard and watched the Steeler's game on a screen on the outside of their house! Jason and I (along with the Fanelli's) decided to go without children, but there were lots of kids running around (that I could take pictures of without chasing mine!) It was fun! Click HERE to see a slideshow of the rest of the pics!

First Painting

The girls did their first finger paintings!!! At first, Kendall thought she was supposed to eat it, so that got a little messy. Then, Makenzie decided to paint on Kendall's head, so that was very funny! Kendall eventually started crying because she didn't like being so messy!!!

LAKE CHAMPION!

I got home on Monday night from Lake Champion! We had a great time! If you know my great fear of heights, you will be shocked to know that I did the zip line TWICE, and the blob and the trust fall without really crying! The girls (Emily, Juliana, and Amarah) and I stayed in Brookview 4 and called ourselves "Small but Mighty" since we had such a small cabin (but lots of energy!!!) It was a long time to be away from my babies, but they did well staying home with Daddy, Mimi and Noni. It was a great experience! [I didn't take too many pics since Tim had his nice camera, so I will add some with me later!]

P.S. I figured out that the first time I went to Lake Champion, Emily, Juliana, and Amarah weren't even born yet!!! Agh!!!

Here's a pic of the girls at one of the first Clubs.

Going to Lake Champion

Tomorrow I am leaving my baby girls and hubby for 5 days!!! I am going to Young Life's Lake Champion in New York with Wyldlife. I am totally psyched since Lake Champion was the first YL camp I ever went to! If you don't know much about Young Life or Wyldlife check out this VIDEO. Check back later to see photos!!!!! Pray for me (and the girls going along) and perhaps for Jason's sanity!!!!

Ridenour Dedication

Today Abigail and Leah were dedicated at ECC and then we all went back to their house for lunch. Its hard to believe that they are six months old (almost 7!) They are getting so big! The girls actually slept through most of their celebration picnic!! Oh, well...everyone else enjoyed celebrating the knowledge that Abby and Leah will grow up in a family and church that loves God! I am so greatful that Kenzi and Kendall will also share in such an amazing group of friends and church family to help them learn and grow!

Busy Week

Wow, this was such a busy week! After my early morning run on Monday, the girls and I headed in to Pittsburgh to visit my friend Alyssa. We had lunch with her and then hung out at her apartment in Beechview. We even took the girls to the playground near her house (they loved it!!) Then I drove up to my parents to spend the night. The next morning, I drove to Sarver to see Jami and Ryan (who is looking adorable, but not giving his mommy ANY sleep!), while my mom watched Makenzie and Kendall. Then I drove down to Monroeville to try on bridesmaid dresses with Sally. That was so much fun!! She found three dresses she is now considering, plus possibly a flower girl dress! My mom drove down to "deliver" the girls to me so I could drive straight home in order to go to Tiff's for dinner with Julie and Katie. We had a quick dinner so we could then go to the new Harry Potter movie (which was good.) Of course after being gone for several days, we had no food and no diapers left, so I had to go the grocery store at 11:00 on the way home (yeah, Martin's was just as scary as Walmart at that time!) The NEXT morning, (after our morning run) we had a ladies Bible study plus lunch and swimming at the Stuckey's. That night, Tiff and I joined the guys on their normal Wednesday night biking trip at Blue Knob. Then Thursday morning, (after running) we had a playgroup at Kathy's for lunch and then a doctor's appt in the afternoon. So...by the time Jason got home Thursday night, it was no wonder I was starting to feel sick. After staying home all day Friday, I finally felt better enough to go to a graduation party yesterday and the Young Life committee meeting. I hope this week is less evenful.

ECC at the Curve

Emmanuel Community Church had a night at the Curve game on Sunday. This was the latest the girls have EVER stayed up!!! We had a good time eating and chatting...hmm...I don't think I even know who won the game!! Oh, well! The girls loved the fireworks at the end, even though they were SOOOO tired!

Shelly and Billy's Wedding

July 14, 2007
My cousin Shelly got married at 4:30 PM on Saturday in Tarentum, Pennsylvania. Kenzi and Kendall were very good considering how tired they were!!! Their light pink dresses are also mighty dirty! But we all had fun, and it was so great to see Shelly so happy!!!!! Click here to see a slide show of the day!

Fourth of July

Happy 4th of July!
To celebrate, we spent the evening at the Heckman's with some of our other friends! It was kind of yucky weather, but we had fun eating and talking! The kids had fun running around and watching for trains behind their house! To see all the pics from today click here.

Baby Conaway!

Ryan Jeffery Conaway was born on Tuesday, June 19, 2007! At 7 #, 6 oz and 19.5 inches he looks like a little peanut compared to my little monsters!!! Jami looked amazing when I went to see her in the hospital! The next day, Hannah, Alyssa, Erica, Whitney, Debi and I went over (and brought dinner to the new mommy and daddy)! Kendall just loves babies...she wanted to see and say hi to baby Ryan! It was so great to see Jami and Jeff in such a new stage of their lives...I personally think it is amazing and wonderful (being a parent) and I am so excited to have a new "Mommy" friend!!!!! To see more pics of baby Ryan click here!
